Our Berlin coffee roastery is dedicated to creating unique coffee specialties. The name ORIGO, Latin for "origin," reflects our philosophy: Every aroma, every flavor begins at the source – with the plant, the soil, and the people who nurture it. We oversee the entire process from the coffee plant to the cup, always in harmony with sustainable and eco-friendly principles.
Together with our partner farmers, we create optimal conditions for cultivation, with quality, respect for nature, and social responsibility at the forefront. Our CO₂-neutral packaging is just one example of how we contribute to a more sustainable world.
Care in the process, perfection in the product
The journey of every ORIGO coffee begins with the careful cultivation of coffee plants. Our partner farmers rely on manual harvesting to select only the finest coffee cherries. The beans are then separated from the fruit, washed, dried, and meticulously sorted by quality and size. In our roastery, we use traditional drum roasting at a maximum of 225°C. Over a period of about 20 minutes, more than 800 aromas develop – the secret behind our exceptional coffee specialties.
Our selection ranges from the fruity Café Crema Gourmet Roast to the full-bodied Imperial Viennese Blend.
Lovers of intense espresso notes appreciate the spicy Classic Barista Espresso or the smooth, delicately bitter Grande Barista Espresso. For organic-certified enjoyment, the Bio-Barista Espresso, made from carefully selected Arabica beans, is the perfect choice.
